Lineage

The Siddha tradition is not about finding god. It is about attaining the highest personal humanity residing within us. The tradition is nature-centric and all its dimensions are interwoven. All dimensions, whether it be medicine, astrology, alchemy, occult, yoga, or tantra, are all spiritual paths. Of all these, the path of Vasi is the highest and most guarded path of this system. It is about attaining the primal us and living it.

The tradition has many lineages, each with its own color and modalities. Pal Pandian’s lineage is one such, called as Aga Guru lineage.

What we learn initially, begins with the body and relearning to be in it. Living with grounding has deep value in this path. The practices that are taught are never literal. The work it is meant to do happens as a direct revelation to the practitioner and a growing awareness emerges. The regular activities begin to show a quality that is not acquired but as mentioned above it naturally emerges. That is the beauty of this path.

The grasping and imposing the so-called desired outcomes is unnatural and not encouraged. Imitating is a waste of precious time.

The practices of this path are meant to crystallize our grounding within the body so that the faculties that are inherent begin to emerge. The embodiment has three layers... Awakening physical reality, then the subtle body, the sensory realm, and then the Dimension of Soul. There begins the universal or impersonal reality.

The potential of the human being is beyond regular comprehension and it is unfortunate that we have preoccupied our civilization in wasting a lot of time seeking answers outside.

The practices we learn are simple yet profound because the outcome they bring is not limited to within our body and mind. The intertwined nature of our body and mind with our environment becomes visible as the quality of transformation and evolution happens at both ends, within and without.

The intelligence that runs the universe is the same intelligence that governs the body. The practices of this path guide us, to allow the intelligence to come forward and reign. Allowing the supreme intelligence to preside over our life throws us directly onto the path and purpose of our birth and propels our evolution along.

Although we may be habituated to the colorful ways of the world, the source of all of those and more is residing within, which makes us richer than our environment.

How does one fall back into depending upon the inner intelligence is the path we follow. In this path, we do not entertain our minds or indulge our bodies. If finding the ability to be quiet enough to feel the presence of life within attracts you, then this path might be for you.
